 |  COD connection problems..This is really getting on my nerves, Treyarch have made an awesome game but the connection problems on black ops is seriously taking the piss now, there's so much lag and disconnections. It even froze my whole PS3 a number of times today... I started playin COD when world at war was out, so i missed out on modern warfare 1 which is meant to be the best one out so far. Does anyone know if it is still worth me getting it and playing it on ps3, are there still a lot of players on it? Does it have similar connection problems as black ops?

| I used to have a PS3 and the first game i got for it was COD4, it was quite epic back then and i still think to date its the best COD made. I expect there to be between 20,000- 30,000 players still playing because that's how many there is on the xbox. Also with the connection, worked like a charm for me. Although if the host left the game it would end it!  |

 | never had 1 prob on ps3 with online games, on the 360 it was every other game you would get either ****y lag or total discons.

| COD4 is well worth a buy. It's definitely the best game and loads of people play it still.

| If i do get it, i'll be relatively new to the game, will i get killed over and over again by the more experienced players or will there still be noobs like me around in it??

| I played it a few weeks back and there are only level 20s and under, seriously. It's harsh cos I'm unbelievably amazing at it. You'll be fine.

  | In the recent patch they fixed it (xbox 360), I get the odd disconnection when there are poo hosts, but other than that its way better. Edit; COD4 is by far one of the best, apart from all the juggernaught/marty noobs.

| The recent patch came out for black ops which was supposed to make everything a bit better but since playing it, i've disconnected or the ps3 has completely froze in every match. Then went online and found: Black Ops Patch Problems props to Treyarch for ruining an already ruined game even more...
