Nintendo Revolution - is not to be!!!

In an interview with Beth Llewelyn, the Nintendo senior director of public relations states Revolution name will change.

Like any other week, there has been countless rumours about the name of Nintendo next console, we've even seen shots of a "Nintendo Go" logo floating around, which didn't seem to go anywhere. However, in an interview with IGN.com, Beth Llewelyn, Nintendo of America's senior director of public relations, gave us information that the name is definitely going to change.

IGN: Is Revolution the final name of your new system?
Beth: No, it's not.
IGN: So it's definitely a codename?
Beth: It's a codename.
IGN: And it's going to change?
Beth: It is going to change.


Unlucky to all the people that bought domains with the name Revolution in it

i think it's a shame, the revolution is a good name and everyone knows it has that.

I saw these screens from a Revolution game and they look pretty impressive even from the scans

Same here - loving the controller. I'll prolly buy one asap if it's cheap(er). Maybe they should just call it Nintendo Entertainment System? :P

i think nintendo go was a gr8 name as it is there 5th console and go means 5. also i am luvin the controller and the price, ($99-$199), i can see lots of ppl buying them, personally i will b goin for a free one!!

I'd love to go for a free one, but I suck at getting these gifts - I've been around since before exceem was a forum (though I've been off more than on) and have only got an iPod so far
