Erm hello, bit of a strange first post.. Welcome to exceem.

Not too sure what could be causing that as I don't own the game but it could be something to do with your ps3 overheating / blocked cooler vent? Is you ps3 set to auto download game patches/updates, if not it might be worth checking to see if there is an update for the game?

az87aris: yeah i know its strange, and i had my ps3 in a closed in area but it worked fine with other games, then i put it in an open area, and its still freezing only on mw2..and like i said i cleaned it a bunch of times..

Fridge: yeah i played Madden 10 and Rock Band 2 and they worked fine...

GaryD has a little shameless behaviour in the past
must be a error on ps3 internet connection
, have heard they happen quite often or it could be a hard drive error

My xbox keeps freezing after I lose connection on MW2. I think its to do with me bridging a connection from my laptop so I can use my laptop as a wireless.

Doing that shouldnt make your whole xbox freeze it would only give you weaker connection or cut you off. Are you getting any red lights when you turn xbox on? if not it could also be an error on your hard drive best off contacting xbox support and they will show you how to format your hard drive, i personally cant remember how to do it lol. My mate had this problem before on MW:1 and it just came down to a dodgy disk, he took it back to the shop told them what was up and they replaced it and it has been working fine since....when did you get your MW2?

I know what's wrong with your MW2. It's broken.

if it keeps crashing in the same place then i assume its something wrong with the disc, eg a scratch which you can't fix by cleaning. if it's crashing all the time, and cleaning isn't doing anything then try cleaning out the fan of the ps3 as it could be over heating. vacuuming the back of the ps3 (where the fan is on the bigger models) will help with that. also see if it's crashing with other games.

if all fails, go back to the shop with the receipt and claim another one
