Didn't like them on 360, seems like more of a burden than anything else.

The game seems to make you play the newer maps more often, and the chances of playing a map that I actually like are less with their being more maps.

At risk of sounding like Dr Sheldon Cooper off Big Bang Theory (lol), without being more specific that statement is inaccurate.

The game came with 16 maps and another 5 were added. Let us say you like 4 maps out of the 16 (the exact number doesnt matter right now), then that means you like 25% of the maps.
Suffice to say that when 5 new maps were added you would have liked 25% of those as well, meaning that out of 21 maps you like 5.25 of them, which is still 25%. (this is why being more specific could have rendered this whole geeky counter-point moot).

The most interesting point here though is that you claim the new maps are being used more frequently at this moment. I have to say I have noticed this too, or at least it certainly seems I have.

It is quite possible (some would say likely) that it only seems to us that the new maps are being selected more often because we are not used to them being in the rotation. I dont know this for a fact of course, and were this not to be true then I would suggest that the new maps will in time be rotated just as often as the other maps (maybe a week or two tops). Not that this affects the point I made above.
