![]() ![]() | Yeh true Cold war can't even really be classed as a war, gonna be hard making a game out of that...Unless its like a stealth game where you assasinate people or stuff... |

| Mini Mac | Im going to buy it what ever happens. Treyarch made a half decent game in COD:WAW but failed at COD3. So if the pattern continues like this then black ops will be awesome! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | COD3 was a million times better than WaW. This game is going to be swag. They should've done Vietnam. But then I guess they have to make a game based on a war they won

| iBook | I heard a rumour that Infinity Ward will be no more soon. If this ends up anything like WaW I won't be buyin it, Personally I thought that was one of the worst FPS I've ever played. |

![]() | This is bound to be worth a play although I doubt it will be as good as the MW series. Activision definitely need something to bump up their image though, with 38 ex/about to leave Infinity Ward staff members currently suing them, they're not looking too hot. Although the 10 year deal they've signed with Bungie might be enough for them to shrug off the soon to be closed IW... |

Activision fired the two heads of IW (Jason West and Vince Zampella) who then went on and filed a suit against Activision for unpaid royalties and the rights to the Modern Warfare franchise. Since then 28 other employees have left Infinity Ward, some of whom have been hired by the new studio West and Zampella have set up. And 38 employees (including some current ones) have also filed a suit against Activision for unpaid royalties. No doubt Activision can just replace those that left and continue with the franchise if they win the suit and retain the IP but any future games could end up being complete crap as they've lost a lot of the guys that made the franchise what it is. The story can be found here. Last edited by -null-; 01-05-10 at 01:00 PM.. | |

On that same website, posted in this thread somewhere, there's a post about Activision are releasing 3 new games between now and April 2012. Normally it's once a year, every November but now the games might be rushed, and not that good I like IW, don't like Trearch games as much, just hope the quality of the games stay the same.

![]() | looks ok. Activision is just screwing cod franchise up though. I hope they win the rights back for the franchise because Jason West and Vince Zampella started respawn entertainment with ea so hopefully we will see another cod from the creators. Pretty much most of the guys quitting IW will go straight to respawn. |
