Good PS3 Mics

Tommorow I'm going to go out and get a decent mic for my ps3 (I've got a USB camera, which means I can talk but the whole listening thing isn't very good.)

So just a quick question, does anybody know any half decent PS3 mics other than the standard Sony one (just keeping my options open y'know.)

The best is the turtle beach p21's which i am using now, but they cost £60.

There is nothing wrong with the official playstation one, i used that before i got the turtlebeaches. Thats around the £20 mark, and its what i would recommened for a first headset.

I have the PS3 official mic and its worked well.. but I am seriosuly tempted by a headset like Joe's P21 as it really helps out with hearing footsteps etc.

If you're just looking for a basic mic, I can reccomend the Sony PS3 mic, but for a complete package those turtle beaches look great

Went out today to go and get an official sony one, nobody sells them! I don't want to get it off the internet because I want it for this week. So I might go up to Sunderland at some point.

There was a Madcatz oe and a Game On! One, but I haven't heard good things about Game on! and I do't really like Madcatz.

bigghair has a spectacular aura about
Having used 3 mics so far I think the best thing is to buy a good headset for your PC [the ones with 2 jacks] the best you can afford and then buy a audio jack to usb convertor/dongle thingy from eBay [costs about £3]

The bluetooth headsets are rubbish, even the best of them

I got this headset - £34.99 in store but £20 online [reserve and pick up] - Currys - Shop for PC Headsets - Creative HS600 HS-600 headset

and this dongle thingy - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC-LAPTOP-USB-...item19b95d8b10
