I never knew you could install your games on your hdd

. Is this something new with the update? Or has it always been there?

Just need to get a elite with the big harddrive now

What would be great is for Microsoft to release a skinning kit allowing people to create their own dashboards, should'nt be to hard to base it on some form of xhtml and just give all the content areas a range of tags...

They'd charge you to do it knowing Microsoft, and then I bet their call centres would be barraged with help to do with it, so I doubt it :P

Not really, thinking about it more, they could easily wrap it all in a PC program to do the design, guess it would just be an extension of frontpage or an office prog.

They prob would charge for it, or better still allow publishers to sell skin's in a marketplace or similar.

well its half past and i am guessing so as its now the 19th, anyone able to check as i have the beta version and if i go online without the update being their ready for me to update i will most likely get banned lol :P

I think the avatars look proper crap, but am really looking forward to installing games.
Hopefully it'll speed up the load time and quiet it down quite a bit!!

I only have the 20GB drive so I hope it's not a full 8GB install (Not 4.7 as someone said above, thats single layer

As above, I chose the xbox cos it's more grown up. Do I really want some little cartoon character to be my main interface before I go and witness some hideous violenece on world of war? or GTA?
