Wii remote charger

I saw one of these in Tesco the other day and was thinking on getting one since my batteries are running low. But before I spend my hard earned birthday money I'd like to know is it worth it.

Are they like the iPod dock where you can plug the remote in whatever the battery charge. Do you need specific batteries for use with them or will any old rechargeables do.

it varies but the one I got came with battery packs which basically replace the batteries and the back of the battery case.

Its a good thing to have if you use the wii a lot as its like the ipod dock as you say, it just uses the usb connection so no extra plugs etc needed
