PS3 game advice

Right, I've just completed story mode on GTA4 and although I still plan to work on the side missions etc, I need a new game to get into! Bearing in mind I am a girl who liked GTA4 a lot, do you think i'd like COD4 too? I want a game (or 2) that lots of people would recommend as high quality and addictive, not soem random obscure one thats already finding itself in the bargain buckets!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, I dont want to buy a game and then waste it!

Btw, already have: Uncharted, GTA4, Pro Evo 08, and Assassins Creed

Metal Gear Solid 4! Personally haven't got it, but will be and I have loved all the other episodes!

^ that's the one I was going to recommend too; I don't have it either but loads of ppl keep going on about how good it is

I would reccomend, Metal Gear Solid (I just completed it and am proud to admit that I did shed a few tears at the end !) and defo Call of Duty 4 !

Yeah, I had been considering it- Q for someone that has it: Does it flow well or does it get really confusing? And is the view just a gun, or are you able to see the character you are controlling? For some reason I can never get into games that involve running along with nothing in front of you!

What is it about COD4 that's so great? I'm almost certain it'll be one of the games I go for, but just wondering what sets it apart from the rest!

MGS4: you can select which view you want 3rd person or 1st person, the flow of the game is excellent, the sound and vison is superb, its just great ! (If you liked GTA think of the same quality, nothing has been left to finish, there is no more that they could of added)

COD4: Single player mission is great, but online is where the real action is !

Both of them are what I would call works of Art, really essential for any PS3 owner as you can always come back to it and it still gives you the same enjoyment as when you first took it out of the wrapper !

Just to further the praise of MGS4! Its an amazing game the graphics are stunning and it just draws you in!

I recently (im not proud of it) bought a magazine and it told me '50things' that you wont have done in MGS4, and it was true if you explore everything then you will be on the game for days and days and days!

Its that good i thought i could sneak around so was practising around the house!

Took you long enough with GTA!! Although i must admit i still havnt done all the side bits to get 100%. How did you find the last mission in the abandoned casino?, took me 3 times!

No PS3 as of yet so cant really recommend anything...

Little Big Planet for certain (or as the little one calls it "Dooo Dooo Da da da Doo Doo Dooo") and Resi Evil 5 but am soooooo looking forward to the Force Unleashed STAR WARS !!

Call Of Duty 4 is brill i like just watching aswell when Mick is playing so for me Call of Duty is a must

Haha, well I got it long after everyone else and had a 2 week break from it around the time of my hols! I can't play for more than 3 hours at a time anyway

Oh and I didn't get the casino ending as I chose 'revenge'! I got the ship!

Ooooooooooo forgot there were options, think im going to have to get 100% then start over again!

I was thinking about starting again, but it's never as fun 2nd time around! Anyway, i've decided to verify for the 3 games this weekend, and gonna go for COD4 and MGS4 along with Burnout Paradise cos my bf has been wanting that for ages after playing the demo
