Yup, I saw that.. there is a "trade" store not far from the Gamestation so I will probably pop in there to see if they have a cheap 2nd hand HD DVD that would be of interest for me.. otherwise it will probably be HMV.. thanks for the heads up though!

I used to use my LG pc monitor to output my 360 to via VGA, the higher resolutions in some cases do match HDTV standards in terms of display output

But your spot on tom, we paid £50 (give or take a few pence) for 12 DVD's, and ill be making another similar sized order soon again - yeah its old technology, but to get a nice collection of hddvd's at that price is worth it IMO

OK, so I went down to Gamestation and they no longer sell it for £15..

its now £19.99 for the drive only or £24.99 with 2 HD DVD's (from their £7.99 range).. so I bought this..

Constantine £7.99
The Island £7.99
xBox360 HD DVD Drive £9.01

Which I must say is a bargain!

In any case, I will now see if I can get it all to work with my machine here!

Spot on, why buy Planet Earth for £40 on Blu ray when you can buy the drive, remote and HD DVD set for that and open the door to a huge amount of HD movies for less than a boots meal deal!!

ANy films older than a few months i'll get on HD DVD at a bargain prices, any that aren't produced on that i'll buy the Blu Ray - Best of both worlds

Yup, i cashed in 7 greens to get a bank transfer and blew it on the drive and 24 movies. Alex said they've had lots of problems with HMV before so try to refrain from ordering from them
