Re: Help!!!!

oh ..... er ...

I'd probably try removing the hard drive then booting the ps3 up ..

Then re - inserting the hard drive .... Hopefully it would then recognise it as new hardware and may let you re-format it back to its normal ps3 setting.

Re: Help!!!!

you might have to re-format the hard drive, your PS3 might not do it.

If you remove your harddrive from your PS3 and plug it into your computer, (you will need a converter from mapplins for your harddrive to plug into a computer IDE port, there only about £5.00)

Then delete the partition on the PS3 harddrive using a windows disc.

Plug it back into your PS3 and it will find new hardware and format it for you.

hope this helps

Re: Help!!!!

Hmm very "dodgey" to try these from random guides off the net. Very risky unless you can grasp the whole concept and then just use a gudie to aid your modification.

Id say defo reformat the harddrive as mentioned. Does any text come up on the screen?

does all the hardware work on it, eg the wireless. I've seen a few reports saying that alot of the hardware doesn't work when running windows on the ps3
