With Nintendo releasing the Wii Board, I must admit that I wasn't expecting them to be releasing anything worth while that would tie in with it but I'm happy to see that Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is well on its way..

as long as if they make it better then the second one then i'll be happy.. they killed it off releasing that.. why on earth they dropped some of the features from the first one.. here's hoping anyways..

tbh I'm becoming more of a Nintendo fan by the day (well almost).

I think their consoles seem more fun and more for the family. Last week My uncle, cousin, mother and I had fun playing Wii sports when I took my Wii to my grans to show off. And today my mother almost managed to set up her "ds machine" (she didn't restart it after setting it up) then she proceeded to sit for an hour playing it.

And it doesn't help that my tv sucks so the PS3 graphics look rubbish.

the thing is about the wii is that it can get pretty boring pretty fast. When you first get your hands on it you think "Wow i'm playing on a wii!" then you have fun for about a half hour. After this period it just becomes lame and you end up looking like an idiot in your front room waving your hands everywhere trying to make something happen on screen like a psycho.

didn't think it would be long before a ps3 fanboy made a post..

and i'm guessing you haven't played games such as Resident Evil 4, Zelda, Mario Galaxy or Mario Kart ? As each one of those keeps me going for hours and i've never looked lame using the wii mote to kill zombies or drive my kart..

sorry i find that line funny :P just the thought of someone trying to kill a zombie with a wii mote while insisting they dont look lame

anyway the wii and ps3 are both great
and those wii games do look good

how's it differ to using a controller on any other console ? you aim and click ? whats lame about it ? the light gun on the nes wasn't lame, using the gun on time crise on the ps2 wasn't lame and neither is using a wii mote..

if anything i think it adds more to the game.. on any other console, you site the moving your thumbs and thats it but here you have the chance to actually get that bit more involved in what you're doing..

lol i've played all of them mate, only one i liked was Resident Evil. The other games could easily make you look lame because they're games for 10 year olds...I'm not PS3 fanboy either, i just tell it how it is. PS3>Wii

i know kids are good but i'd love to see a 10 year old clock zelda or mario galaxy without help..

ermmm you should already know amount of sales don't matter in a case such as this. I admit Wii sells more than PS3 but a Nissan Micra sells more than a Porsche 911, does that make the micra a better car?? I rest my case lol.

but surely more sales = more people buying = more interest = better product

yeah the porsche is the top end product but that doesn't make it better..

surely the better product is the one that everyone's got, the one that everyone wants and the one thats making the most..

In all seriousness i have both a Wii and a PS3, I spend more of my time on the PS3 and rarely pick up my wii controller...the graphics on the wii have no chance against PS3's beautiful graphics. The gameplay on the wii is like marmite, you either love it or hate it. Which in my case, i hate it. The movements get soo repetitive in most games and i think Nintendo just tried to think "outside of the box" when creating the wii and a serious gamer would go for a 360 or a PS3 while all the family types get the wii.

Plus, you guys have games like mario and sonic while we have GTA

for the average joe yes the micra would be the better car as its the most affordable and they'd get more out of it..

as for the graphics not been good on the wii.. have you seen one hooked up to a hdtv with a comp cable ? as its looks rather fineeee..

and surely its about time a company thought out the box, who wants to play game after game after game with all the same gameplay.. lets face once you've played halo or gtv once, its the same in every release, at least with the wii its something new and different..
