eXceem - Xbox 360 Red Light of death??

If I bought a normal premium xbox 360 from amazon will it have the problem with the red ring if death?? Or has it been fixed??

You would be geting a new console, so it would not have a problem.

Of course with any form of electronic equipment there is a small chance it could break, then you would get the "ring of death" but it would be covered by Amazon, Microsoft (and if you pay using a credit card, the credit cards) gurantee so you wouldnt loose out.

On a side note can you reduce hte size of your sig image

ok thanks but I was asking if that problem still accurs on latest xbox's I know they are knew but apparently they still have the problem

P.S will reduce the size of my sig when I'm on my PC as right now I'm on my touch

the xbox in my lounge is around 2 years old (i think) and its got no red rings, there is no particular version of the xbox that is more or less prone to the red ring of death.

I've had my xbox for a year and a half now and I have had no problems with the ring of death.

the red ring is cause by the x-clamps on the motherboard heating up and expanding and warping the motherboard, i have fixed a few of these its a pretty easy fix although you shouldnt have to fix a nice new nextgen console, apparently no arcade or elites have this problem but dont quote me on that

My first 360 got the 3RLOD. The one I have now is fine though as MS have added a extra heatsink to keep the 360 from overheating on the new motherboards. So all should be fine

and if not there is a 3 year warrenty against the 3RLOD. Hope this helps.

I have seen Elite consoles with 3RLOD on youtube.

meandu, that is WRONG. my mate's arcade version worked for a month and then stopped working, so its still happening to all xbox's and has not been fixed

Chances are it won't, it's the earlier versions of the 360 that are the worst.
