MICROSOFT XBOX 360 REPAIR (im back by the way!)


I'm back from my little 2 week ban. (i was trading with a non-listed site) oops.

anyway, within that time my 360 started to make wierd noises and stuff. So, i put in a warranty repair notice. (360 was still inside warranty).

I submitted it on : 9/11/07

I then received a message from xbox repair centre, giving me links to print out a ups label to put onto my 360. (also links to arrange collection)

The links supplied were invalid. (typical)

anyway, i phoned up microsoft on the 10/11/07. I told them about the dud links. They said they'd sent out new links within 48 hours. 3 days pass. I phone them up and say i've had no email. They said that they had no reccolection of my phone call. -.-

Anyway, they said they'd post me a label to stick onto the 360 and a phone number to arrange delivery. they said that would arrive within 5 days. (should come on monday).

So i thought i'd just wait till then.

THEN, randomly on friday (16/11/07) a ups man arrives. "rite wee man, i've goot an xbox to collect rite?" he said in a very glaswegian accent. Obviously i was a bit flabbergasted as i hadn't arranged for delivery, i hadn't even given ups my address yet and i hadn't got the label from microsoft. I said to the guy "sorry, it's not ready". and he left me a ups proof of attempted collection thing.

SO, obviously i'm pretty annoyed at microsoft at the moment. We'll see if the label comes on monday.

I'll keep you updated and i hope this doesn't happen to any others.

Thats M$ repair system all over! I've been trying to get a console sent away for repair since April!!!!!! I've phoned them 13 times and i've tried getting them in an email, sending them to a different email, waiting on them through the post, i asked to speak to a manager they said they would send a UPS employee to collect the console with the labels by special delivery (never showed.....), i've tried my email so many times, and have also tried getting it through the post, their support is F**KIN hopeless !!!!

I've sent and kept 17 emails to microsoft. 1 of which was replied to with an automated reply -.-

your best off phoning them. Its best to confer every detail as well as the reason that my label didnt turn up was due to the fact that they got my email address wrong. Although this was last september when the repair service was a lot better...

yes, i did phone them. That's the only way i got things kind of sorted out. lets see if the label comes tomorrow though.
