eXceem - Anything other than Play Asia?

Hey.

Was just wondering if there were any other sites like Play Asia. It's a good site for consoles and games, but most of the time you find that you can't ship to the UK.

If anyone can suggest any sites that ship to the UK more than Play Asia do I would like to know

Also.. anyone selling a Japanese 60GB PS3?

Before its closed, are ps3's region free? If not, wont a japenese ps3 be a bit pointless as games and films will have to be imported and its being released here this month.

I personally am not a gamer so it makes no difference to me, but it would be nice for the members if you let them know where you found this, so I'll leave this thread open for others who want to answer the same question.

The games are region free and will work anywhere, but dvd's and blu ray movies are still going to have region coding, so unfortunately if you want it as a cheap blu ray player as well as a console you will have to pay full UK price, or import all of your blu ray movies.

Might aswell play full wack, considering the games dont look to impressive. But paying almost as much to import, and not being able to pick up a bluray in hmv is kinda crap. Speaking of crap, how stupid does the name sound when put in a sentence...e.g.

"Do you want to rent a bluray?" - "Im bidding on a bluray on ebay"

Didnt think that out at all, blinded by unecessary storage capacity but failed to think about the high component prices and stupid name. Unless they are going to call it a BRD - blu ray disc but that sounds just as crap.

another good site for import stuff (including ps3's) is video game plus http://www.videogamesplus.com/ they are based in canada, but delivery doesnt take long, usually around 5 days.
