YAY the Wii has officially hit Europe. To everyone who got one Have Fun! but just be careful and use the wrist strap, seen too many pictures and videos of broken TVs because of flying Wiimotes!

Not for me it isn't. Looked at the parcelFarce tracking and they've sent it to the other end of the country so I won't be getting it till at least tomorrow if not monday.

i got mine last night from my 24 Tesco.
there was a massive queue as i turned up at half 11 and was about to go home until i saw my workmate in the queue with his friend.
my workmate wasn't getting one so he used his queue position to get me one.
haven't played it yet though

waiting for mine from freeclickz - trying to find somewhere in town that sells it so I can get a cash alternative but they are all sold out and the worrying thing is that they are saying their next stock wont be until after christmas!

I went into Game and HMV and asked if I was to preorder would I be Guaranteed it on the 8th and they both said Yes. They are now telling people that preordered that they wont be able to get them. The prices on ebay are about Â£250. The search for my wii for christmas goes on . . . . . .

I just phoned PCWorld as mine was ordered from them by forfree.me.uk and they were reluctant to give me info as it wasn't me that purchased it.

After explaining that it was ordered for me he told me that it has been dispatched and I should get it today or tomorrow.

As I am off out on my xmas do today, I would rather it arrived tomorrow so I can be in when it arrives!

Almost had mine today. Argos Home Delivery Network forgot to knock on my door and put a card through the letter box straight away by accident.

It's only because they have to come down a few steps to get to my house and can't be arsed to carry the parcel down. Happens to me all the time and really gets on my nerves

GAME in Nottingham have a demo model, but there's 2 demonstrators on duty when it is in use and you can only use it at certain times.

I have been to every shop in town trying to get one today and have been told if no one cancels there pre orders then I will have till wait till at least January. Suppose it could make a birthday present... at least I was able to use the launch as a good time to get some referrals from eBay.

Went to a friends today who preordered one and had a quick go. Good fun but very strange at first! Didn't really give it enough time but I from what I saw it looks pretty good. I just don't know if maybe after time waving the wiimote around will get annoying when all you want to do is have a chilled out game without burning excess calories!

Xbox's are great, I've got the original one. I'm yet to get a 360 but microsoft have got the online gaming thing spot on
