Xbox360 Demos...

So now that I've got the 360 setup, can someone please confirm someone for me regarding the demos. I'm downloading a few of them now, but the demo for PES6 does not seem to be on there at the moment - even though it was online yesterday.

Do demos come back regularly, or have I missed the window of download for that particular demo, and that's it?

Really wanted to grab it too.

I think they do expire after a while as the game was released in October.....then again PGR3 is still on there a year after release :S

I presumed that there never was one. When i got the xbox 360 2 weeks back it wasn't there. And for the thing about demos expiring, i'm sure thats not right, as there are some really old games there!

I could have swore that I saw a trailer for PES6 last night, probably hallucanitating though, as you do. Shame, it's only £25 at Play, but all the reviews are saying it's better on the PS2, so wanted to see if there's anything seriously wrong with the 360 version...

I got fifa 07 yesterday, and its mint. Couple of disappointments (like the fact no lower leagues, but got to say its a great game). Prefer it to pro evo series anyway! There may be a trailer for pro evo, but i know for a fact there has not been a demo.

I've never been a fan of the Fifa series, been playing the PES since series since the first PES on PlaystationOne. But 07 is supposed to be quite close to the current PES effort, so I'm to give the demo a quick spin..

I have got pes6 on 360 psp and ps2
thay are all gud just the only difference is ps2 online is abit better to get games
and also the 360 just has better animation graphics
the psp is the hardest to play since the d-pad isnt great to use

I've played the Fifa07 demo earlier today, and one thing that I can safely say from that experience is that I will not be buying that game. There were so many things there that didn't feel right, or anywhere near as good as the older PES games.

i've been playing Fifa 07 on the PC (with PS2 gamepad) and i've got to say it's so much better than PES6. You will understand what I mean when you get bored of Pro Evo's brilliant way of making your players attributes worse as the skill levels get harder. You win 7-0 on one mode, so you go up a notch and suddenly Thierry Henry can't outpace Richard Dunne cause the AI makes him slower deliberately. Ever wondered why controlling the ball is harder and why the computer seems to have a far better first touch? Yup its that cheating AI again. Thankfully Fifa doesn't cheat like this and makes for a fun game! I'm quite happy when my Arsenal team beats someone like Evertone 3-1. There are no "dead-cert" goal angles like you get in Pro Evo when you know it's gonna sail in if you run at the box from a certain angle, cause Fifa uses 360 degree movement unlike Pro Evo's old 8-way d-pad stuff. Long shots can be score on fifa, but rarely, the balance is right. My football games are fun now. Fifa is NOT amazing, far from it, there are plenty of faults to be had, things such as free kicks are much harder to score, the computer seems too good in the air sometimes, but the main thing is they're not CHEATING! I've loved Pro Evo for years, but this year it's just far too frustrating to play and what is the point in frustrating entertainment?!

i bought a PS2 gamepad USB adapter from play.com for just under a tenner, you can attach 2 gamepads up to it. everything works perfectly, analogue, dual shock, it's marvellous

The full game is a step up. I wasn't to sure with the demo, but i must say the full game is really good. Much better than PES anyway! I don't know how you can warrant saying that older PES games are better than it, as it is miles ahead of old PES games!

Pro evo demo just been added. Argh, its terrible, so gladt buy it now. Fifa is SO much better! The only improvement pro evo has on fifa is that up close the players look slightly better than on fifa. Gameplay is just horrible though!

It seems that Xbox are adding demos to the Marketplace for Gold subscrimbers initally and then allowing Silver subscribers to get them at a later date.

if you dont have braodband for the xbox you can buy the official xbox magazine that has around 5/6 demmos on it monthly though it costs around £6
