How would it encourage spam? The only important post is the 100,000th one and not the ones leading up to it.

Right, let me explain. On eXceem, a total post count in all topics by all members is counted. At the moment 99,329 posts have been made in total. The winner is the member who posts the 100,000th post in any topic!
