I reckon the competition should have been a bit more creative (which can possibly benefit the GA Network and/or Exceem) rather than something that will encourage spamming of pointless posts

I agree entirely. Not only do we have to wade through all the exciting information wolf359 has for us, the 'New Posts' section is full of "Hi there" posts by people we'll never likely to hear from again!

Is a PSP a good reward for people who inflict this on us?

But every new person you referred SHOULD HAVE posted something! The rules that were made at the beginning of the competition said you have to make at least one worthwhile post!You should have told all your referrals that!

It's a nice idea and that on paper.....but practically, it's gonna be difficult to maintain. The fact that it is a decent gift, expect a lot of dodgy business to go round.

Like what GA done a few weeks ago, where they asked people to post their pics for a prize - it benefited both GA/Exceem and the winner.

But of course, if GA is wanting to just give away a spare PSP, by all means do it. We're just saying that you shouldn't expect many new actual members with this system if it is that is what is intended.
