Another one of my famous competitions but with a difference:

Competition Time - Win yourself a free iPod Touch 8GB!

Anyone can enter by answering one simple question, so what are you waiting for! Tell everyone you know, post in forums, spread the message around!

Jon has kindly agreed to choose the winner totally at random. He is also going to do a quick post "vouching" for me. If it makes people more comfortable, I am even happy to send him the iPod Touch in advance.

how is this going to be randomly chosen?

My guess would be the order in which people were entered, for example, you enter first you would be number one, I enter second so I'm number 2 and so on, then a random number generator would be the fairest way in my opinion.

Thanks Simon, the page displays slightly differently in Firefox and IE and I have had trouble making it work properly for both. Will try again!

I'm sure that Jon will come up with a suitable formula to pick a random winner. I intend to leave that totally up to him so that everything is (and is seen to be) done properly.

Was actually planning on doing a comp of some kind involving a shuffle and a small donation to a charity of some kind, but i best hold of for a little bit as i doubt i'll get any interest when they can enter yours for free and get a better prize!
