Thanks forfree4u for running the comp. I just don't understand why no one enters comps run by networks as it benefits all concerned.

If no members enter comps, the network owners simply wont run any because whats the point when only a few people enter each time? I think I got around 14 yellows in a week, I'm sure many of you could have done better.

Don't get me wrong, I'll happily accept all the prizes on offer if networks run competitions but how can you call it a competition when no one is competing?
I'm sure many of you could have done better.!!

cos if we all found it easy to get yellows or greens as tmost of these competitions require we wouldnt need to enter!!!

now if it was just a case of poetry or simple grovelling... we'd all enter!!

Obviously I don't have the figures but I wonder just how many people even gave it a try, thats what I'm getting at. I just want people to get involved, then there will be more comps and better prizes etc etc. but if no one is interested, there wont be any comps.

If someone had got 2 yellows everyday for a week, they would have probably won.

I appreciate that but even if someone had done a trade and got one green, they would have won.

OK, the trade might cost them more than the prize is worth (dont know yet) but at least they would have a green (or half a shuffle )

Re: ForFree4U Referral Competition

nobody is disputing the validity of competitions, but when it is 'simply' a case of 'being the first person to complete the site', 'getting the 10,000th sign up' to name 2 recent ones it is a poke in the eye for those of us who struggle with these sites, the people with the good methods will always win, and it only discourages us amateurs (I have recieved freebies but generally had to pay for each and every green I got!!)

And when we cant even get congas set up for the approved sites we are trying to promote what chance do we have!!

Re: ForFree4U Referral Competition

only 5 or 6 I think. I can't be bothered to count but I think I've got over 150 yellows on ForFree4U, but I haven't had a great run of greens unfortunately . Still, only 1 more to go (assuming I verify ok).
