Slow Feedback

I had a trade complete last week, where both of us had gone green.
I left a message in the trade thread on the 1st, suggesting we should give each other feedback, but got no response.
Thinking the person in question didnt check the trade thread, i sent a PM on the 3rd. Still no response.
The other person has been and is active on the forums still.
I obviously dont want to give positive feedback first if im not going to get anything back with someone who doesnt even reply to me.

So what should my next step of action be?

maybe he's thinking also that he wont give feedback until you do?

at the end of the day, feedback isnt compulsory and can't be forced but maybe it should be? I've done two trades but only one of those traders had the decency to give feedback, the other just didnt bother even though I gave him feedback.

Its an extra way to say thank you for the good trade.

I would agree, the same happens on ebay. Give them feedback and then it may prompt them to do the same.

well the point of contacting them was so we could give feedback at the same time (just as the trades occur)
im still puzzled why i havent been replied to though - if he was waiting for me to give feedback, surely he would have replied with such a demand

Just keep trying. If he has a custom domain email address then you can search for an address and other contact details on whois.

e.g. someone@jonesfamily.co.uk
