Just to update you all, LoveFILM got back to me and have reactivated my account under the Combination 3 package at no cost to me. I now have 3 months free of unlimited DVDs and games. Awesome!

No payment until the 26th of August!

I think you can use the existing customers' code...it should work if you've never used it before.

Tescos is powered by lovefilm so if the activation failed there it won't work with tescos

Blockbuster offer a one month trial straight off the website while Wilkinson seem to have a 2 week one...I'm hooked on 3 months free but am pretty sure I'll get a 'come back to lovefilm' offer in the post soon

The code still works - BUT when I rang them to re-activate, the guy told me that I couldn't use that code as I had already had one free trial

No, but you used to be able to cancel, then re-activate for another 3 months using the same code. Not sure whether you can still do this?

and Tesco didnt let me take out the 3 months free because i have apparently been with them before

I am 99% sure i have never used tescos DVD rental before.

The Tesco DVD rental service is provided through lovefilm so I'm guessing the customer accounts would be linked

So in short, the codes don't work anymore? Damn! Just when I was just about to re-activate my account with lovefim. Cancelled my account with them on Jan this year.

From what I've read around, you're allowed to have another free trial but just not with the same code

Just re-activated my account with the code XMLFZZ711. Still works (well for me anyway). Whoop!

. I chose the unlimited 3 disc (£15.99) option. Somehow you can't have games with this option (which doesn't worry me as I've got nothing to play them on! lol!

). The code which matkavs posted in the link in praj07 post above ^^ ( or for the lazy people, LFZZ987780. lol!) does not have the 3 unlimited option. You only get loads of 1 or 2 disc option with or without games. Hope this helps others.

To get games, I think you need to choose a 'combination' package. The unlimited 3option allows you to rent 'unlimited' DVDs in a month but you can only have 3 at a time.
