Doctor has a spectacular aura about

adding an email account to an iPod Touch


As you may know I've received an iPod Touch

Now my problem is adding an email account to it...
I've setup a touch@ email account on my hosting, but can't get it to work on the touch... any ideas?

what protocol is it? you need imap or pop3 i think for the ipod touch...

best idea is to get it working with outlook or mac mail depending on platform then sync email accounts to the touch through itunes...

you need the smtp server settings etc which your host should provide

You need to get an IzyMail account to allow pop3 on your Touch.

There's tons of tutorials on YouTube.

oh right i find that strange as on my touch under the Info tab when connected i can sync email accounts.

Have you bought the software upgrade yet?
