How did you reactivate your account guys?? I cannot reactivate my account because lovefilm said I have been charged with one month fee £19.99. I haven't own them anything. What a joke!!!!

Maybe you didnt cancel the trial before the 2 weeks was up? or they still havent recieved back the DVDs
But i never even knew they had a package as expensive as that

if you are sure that you no longer want to be a member of lovefilm, then cancel it after 10pm(ish) and you wont have to ring them

Yes you have to have sent the dvds back before they cancel your account. what i done when i cancelled mine was about a week before payment was due i cancelled the account and Then sent the dvd back this way they dont have a chance of sending you another dvd out

Weird - I've entered the 3 months code, selected the package I want - Then it takes me to a blank page :S

I cant check yet as im still on the same activation code for a few more months but i do remember finding a new activation code for you guys if you want to try it...

Just used the code, cheers ravness. But it said I've already used a reactivation code before (not this one) so therefore can't use any others to get free periods. It has been less than a week though so should I give it longer and try again?

to be honest they have probably figured out the flaw in their system. Some people on here have had a year for free.

Lovefilm always has and will be a very slow loading site!!

I tried it the other day, and it kept half loading, then going blank - and there was always about 6 numbers in the top left hand corner when it did?!?!?! Bizarre...

Anyway, to solve it, just try refreshing it 2/3 times, then if that doesn't work, try a different computer, and if that doesn't work, then just come back to it later...

That's the one bad thing about lovefilm in my opinion - their site is soooo slow for the average broadband user...

Perhaps I need to get faster broadband....

nope dont fear im pretty sure there is still a way to get ur 3 months free!

it might involve reactivating with a 2 or 3 week trial then cancelling and then trying a different 3 month code...i will get back to u when i have the time to look around for this!

I doubt it mate, my uncle tried to reactivate but it doesn't give him the option on the homepage like it usually does, instead, it has a message saying to contact customer services, which he did, and was refused reactivation twice on the grounds he has already had a free trial.....

What's the average wait time from cancelling to reactivating? I always thought if you waited a couple of weeks they would be more likely to let you come back...

Nah, I have reacivated minutes after cancelling.

But I think they are finally taking measures to stop people doing more than one trial.....at least that's what it seems.

Couldn't get Lovefilm to reactivate; however, went to Tesco DVD Rental and entered XMLFZZTES7 and got 3 months free. Lovefilm actually own the Tesco service, so maybe the current "blank screen" is just a glitch.

I'm beginning to think the blank screen is actually a glitch. Perhaps it only happens to those who have signed up more recently.

Regardless, I've contacted customer support saying that the site is accepting the "XMLFZZ722" code but not following through after package selection.

I was a little vague with the email I sent to them saying that a friend had given me the code and that it seems other people have had the blank page problem. I asked if they could possibly look into it for me because I'd like to give LoveFILM another try.

I'll let you guys know the reply I get, which apparently should be within 24 hours. I have my fingers crossed that it results in 3 months of free DVDs and games so I can join the club we have going on here!
