On Hold

Your account is currently on hold as one of more instances of fraud have been found with your account. Please log a support ticket if you believe this to be an error.

After referrals not showing on my account, completed offers not showing as complete, the completed offers and the total on my account not matching I am now getting the above message.

Before I lose the will to live with this referral business, I'm just wondering if this message is directly about my account or could it be one of my referrals, anyone have any experience of this?

I've raised a support case but just thought I'd ask in the meantime as I can't work out what this can be as it's 8 friends/family and 2 exceem members that are my referrals and I've obeyed the rules.

Re: On Hold

I got put on hold (with a different network) because 2 of my referrals had the same first name, so this could be the same sort of thing. If you got family to sign up, the duplication of a surname could throw up question marks to the network which means they would need to investigate to make sure it is legit. Don't worry, if you've followed all of the rules then you have nothing to worry about.

Seems obvious, but i assume the 8 friends and family all signed up from addresses different to your own? ie you didnt refer your parents/siblings/children or anyone else who lives and accesses the site for your house?

Re: On Hold

My tiny little mind has been in overdrive all night about this and I can't come up with a reason. Every referral is at a different address, 3 of us have the same surname but we all live in different addresses. 2 exceem members did trades with me so I can only guess they don't live together.

From what I have read in these forums people talk about greens getting reversed but all mine are still green, if it was an issue with a referral would people expect the green reversed?

I certainly hope this can get sorted out as it has been one bumpy ride so far and I've gathered twice as many support tickets as referrals !!!

Re: On Hold

Im on hold also, and whats stupid, is that the accounts that are now banned (or also on hold) that put me on hold, went through the first time my account got verified, but also that time i lost 5 greens, this time i didnt lose any, but my account was put on hold..

Re: On Hold

generally speaking if you are on hold it is a problem with your account not your referrals especially if they are still green , we can all speculate on reasons why but the only way you will get a proper answer is by putting in a support ticket and being patient ,

Re: On Hold

Thanks Claire, my support ticket was raised right away but my curious little mind was just wondering if it was my account specifically or related to a referral, the message could be interpreted either way... st least it can by me.

I'm still not sure what I have done wrong but I'll be sure to keep you all posted as no doubt you are all as desperate to know as I am
