That's exactly what shouldn't happen.

Some people are prepared to wait, websites like that will ruin peoples chances of getting referrals and have a knock on effect on other freebie websites.

just out of interest.. and pleasdon't shoot me down, bu as Jon said earlier, how many people waiting for their freepay goods actually completed the site 'ethically'.

I don't expect ant answers, but with the prevalance of free sims... even freebie sites giving them away as freebies, how many peoples greens have even seen a phone with the number they applied with!!!!

I have been approached countless times...... "want to sign up as a green for me on freepay, I'll send you the number and pin".

But how is that different from signing up to Gala say, depositing your £5 playing it through and never going near it again.

And tbh I was far from impressed with celldorado's service since I never once received the free bonus ringtone I wanted. Hardly incentive to stay with them.

they've now got a betting site on there i think, got to deposit a tenner and play through. more commission in that than ringtones i would have thought.

im guessing the ringtones were put on there to get teenagers involved relying on their apathetic attitude and signing up doing their offer and then not bothering to get other people to do it.

Well I subscribed to celldorado for 5 days waiting for my tone to come. Inestead it ate £8 of my credit and didnt recieve anything, my friend however waited 3 mins and it came for him. NOOOO.

and also, i think the more annoying thing overall, is freepay!

i think ill only be willing to use them again if they start sending massive waves of a constant flow of gifts!

I've been thinking, and I have a theory of how they can offer such low ref rates for ringtone offers.

I think they might do it like this:

Freepay have 100 orders for £X amazon vouchers each (just an example).

They wait until they have £X in the bank from the offers, then they send out some gifts which they have the money for, while still making profit. So basicly, it's not 5 referrals for £180 amazon voucher on ipods.freepay - it's 5 referrals and you get put on a list that you will get vouchers from eventually when they have enough money to send more out.

Just a theory, but it sort of fits lol. Then again, it may just be me thinking crazy...

To be honest, if they had ring tone offers and you only had to do one, I would do an ipod touch for 10 referrals, maybe even more...

anyways back to freepay...im only 1 day over ESD on laptops, and jerseys but kinda bored so i'll join the ranting!

i jus sent a support ticket requesting vouchers instead of laptop to see if it would speed up the process, u reckon this would work?

haha i just signed up to freepay again on gifts XD tbh i figured that i eventually got my gift, and i seem to be luck with freepay *touch wood* and i have had no greens on FJ, so i might as well join again. And with my Uber l33t support ticket writing skillz i should be alright. goin for a laptop this time, to fund my ski trip

so for all those ranting, have faith, and keep writing those tickets! you will get your gift eventually! except for maybe doctor
