quick question on this, how long before the 3 months is up do you have to cancel so you don't get charged, and do you cancel then send your last dvd's back because I pretty much get the next DVD sent the day after I put mine in the post

lol to cancel you should send all your DVD's back, clear your list and once you have no DVD's on your home list you can then cancel and re-activate using the code.

It will tell you in your account when your payment is due. Just set a simple reminder on your phone or something.

what I do is this. When I send back the last dvd that I intend renting from the 3 month "trial", I just delete all titles in my account, that way they cant send you any more. Mind you, I never have many titles listed anyway.

Thanks for that, I'll have to write down what I have in my list when the day comes, I have about 30 titles and about 20 more that aren't out yet.Plus about 15 PS3 games on my 2nd list.
Their service is pretty immense, I'm glad I'm not paying for it though, every time I put the cd's back in the post to them I just think that the postman emptying the post box could see them and just put them in his pocket and then I would have to pay for the cd's or something.

No need to delete your list. Just cancel and send back your last DVD - when they get it they cancel your account, but leave your list untouched!

well I don't really trust postmen, I had my laptop stolen by one before it got to me (probably because Dell put a big picture of a laptop on the box) and my brother knows one that takes tickets for football games and sells them because it says who it's from on them and well the lovefilm ones aren't hard to miss and it's quite a long way from where I live back to them.

and can u then cancel it at the end of that and repeat, getting another 3 months free? if so, is it simply cancel it > sign up again with code or something?
