Newbie touting

I've seen a lot of threads recently (3 tonight alone) trying to get newbies when they introduce themselves to sign up to people's sites either by trades, through congas or by going to individual freebie guide sites that members have made!

All newbies can read and hopefully make up their own minds about sites they want to join without help from members on here! You can potentially put them off from here if they think they're just going to be bombarded by different people 'touting' at them!

Anyone who does it from now on will be given an infraction, followed by a ban if they carry on!

yep, got an infraction for promoting a conga!!

it seems strange that we are getting told off for promoting Exceem features, maybe the features should be removed!! I do agree that people shouldnt redirect to external sites, but if the congas/trades were better managed then I am sure we wouldnt need to be trying our luck with both newbies and oldies!!

I have no issue with people promoting conga's but when they are exclusively promoting congas they are on...

But surely thats the point!! Otherwise they just stagnate and die and another way to get greens is confined to the realms of gluing leaves back onto trees - a waste of time!
